"What are we doing here again?" asked my sister. My name is Madiline, and this is my dearest younger sister Caroline. Caroline is 13, I am 17, and my dear Mother is 36. "Remeber, Mother said that we must go out and find new ribbons for the ball tonight." I reminded her as we walked through the town of Shire. "Why can't we just say to the host that we had caught a viruse or maybe a terrible case of-" I stopped her before she could finish. "Mother said it wouldn't be as terrible as last time." I laughed. "Besides, when we do go, there will be plenty of other children aroung your age, Caroline." I told her. "But I don't want to go to the ball!" she whined. "Neither do I , but Mr. Miller will be there." I teased. Mr. Jaden Miller was the most popular young bacheloher of Shire, he had brown hair that defied gravitity and brown eyes, alongside his best friend, the youngest Mr. Neyer. He had the same exact colors as his older brother's, except he was the younger version. The three of them were considered quite handsome to most(= all) of the girls their age. "Fine." she flushed. "It's okay to like young men at this age, Caroline." I patted her back.
"We're here, girls!" Mother groaned as the carriged stopped. "Mother, you are too agreeable to go to any social gathering, even if you don't want to go." I laughed as we stepped off of the carrige. "I am indeed too agreeable, but all of my lady colleauges always pressure me into coming to such events." she sighed. "Anyways, we won't be here long. Maybe an hour would be reasonable to let my pressence here be in tommorrow's disccusion." she said. I looked at her like a dog ate my dinner. "So my friends will hear that I was at the party." she said as we walked through the entrance.
"Goodevening, Mr. Neyer." We all curstied. Mr. Jesse Neyer was the host of tonight's party. He had chocolate brown hair with topaz eyes. He was the oldest Son of the Neyer name. 'Goodevening, all of the Ms. Claire's." he bowed. "Good evening, Ms. Madiline." he smiled warmly. "Goodevening, Mr. Neyer." I smiled. "Caroline!" I heard somone call. It was Caroline's best friend Blaire. "Hello, Blaire!" she said happily. "You must come with me! Mr. Miller has been asking for you ll evening, and all of the girls have been throwing a fit that their favorite dancer hasn't arrived yet!" Blaire tugged on my sister's arm. "Go, Caroline! You heard what she said!" I laughed while pushing Caroline towards Blaire. "Thank you, Madiline!' Blaire laughed while running with Caroline back to the kids' area. "I didn't know that my best friend could actually be this late to a ball." I heard a laugh. "Gloria!" I hugged her after turning around. "I apologize for being late!" I laughed. "Everyone's also looking for!" she said. "Even Jesse, was.' she whispered in my ear. Gloria had brunette hair with yellow eyes. Did I forget to mention that she was Jesse's twin sister? "of course." I rolled my eyes. "I'm totally serious, Madiline!" she pouted. "What did you tell her?" Mr. Neyer raised a brow. "Nothing, brother dearest!" she laughed. "Now, we must go!" she said while dragging me off to god-knows-where.
